xepton TX-1, transmitter

A small but powerful transmitter with connectors for headsets and microphones provides for typical one-directional applications. Once switched on, the device is instantly ready to use and the LC-Display informs about the current state. Should adjustments be necessary, only three buttons are needed to browse and set the menu-guided options. The maximum signal range is – depending on the surroundings – up to 150 m (500 ft) and the transmission time per battery charge is approximately 20 hours.

Please note: Xepton has been specially designed to be used in loud environments. For this reason, the range of the microphone is reduced in order to leave out distant noise. This property makes it necessary for the microphone to be close to the mouth of the speaker. This can be achieved bey using a headset, an ear microphone or a clip-on collar microphone.
