Hive Central

»Hive Central­« is the centralised management software for professional Auracast™ configurations. Available for Windows and macOS operating systems, »Hive Central« enables centralised control of all relevant functions within an Auracast™ system with access to each individual unit. These include, for example, the management of audio streams, voice channels, group assignments, and content and profile management. It supports users/Auracast™ system operators in making optimal use of all functions and convenience features of RTX and SmartHive devices.

Key features and functions

• Centralised management and control of RTX and SmartHive devices
• Stream Lock: When Stream Lock is enabled, the RTX automatically attempts to establish a connection and play the locked stream.
• List Lock: Prevents the display of streams that do not belong to the project and only allows access to predefined open and secure streams.
• Support for firmware upgrades: Enables RTX and SmartHive devices to be upgraded directly via the software
• Workspace-Administration: Creation, export and import of custom workspaces for each project
• Stream Manager: Convenient configuration of Auracast™ streams for use in the planned project.
• Creation and management of tours: Creation of guided tours with audio files sent by an RTX in TX mode (mixed with the audio input signal) or use as an on-demand audio guide for exhibitions (activation of a Hive Central Pro licence is required to enable this function)
• Support for multilingual tours: Enables language selection for audio playback of each tour (activation of a Hive Central Pro licence is required to enable this feature)
• Role-based operating modes: Enabling advanced configuration options for system administrators while restricting access for basic users to ensure ease of use and maintain system security.
